The Office Headshot Check List
Sometimes setting up an office photo session can seem a little daunting, so here are a few things we've learned that will make the day run just a little smoother. We want this to be a relaxed and stress free day for everyone.
Here are a few things I hope will help !
Step #1
SCHEDULE AHEAD OF TIME AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
Email everyone as soon as you set up a date to give the maximum time for everyone to get ready. A lot of employees & executives may have to adjust their schedules to make sure they are available on the day of the photo session.
Step #2
MAKE SURE THERE IS ENOUGH SPACE TO SET A MOBILE STUDIO
If possible we would like to come to your office before he session day to look at the available space, so we can bring the appropriate lighting & background. We don't need a lot of room, but usually a clear 10' x 15' is ideal. A boardroom usually works for headshots, but we have worked in lunch rooms, wide hallways and even in the office foyer.
If it's convenient I would like to come and view possible sites in your office to set up a week before the photo session -Robert Marlow
Step #3
SEND EMPLOYEES TIPS ON CLOTHING & MAKEUP
We have a great page on our website that talks about clothing, colours, makeup etc. and we will email you a link so you can include that with your emails to all the individuals. We have found that is very helpful and really appreciated. Click & have a look.

Step #4
FOLLOW UP EMAILS - VERY IMPORTANT !
A week before the photo session send out a reminder, so hair appointments can be made and new clothes purchased. And really important, the day before the photo session a quick email "hey are you ready for a headshot " People are busy these days and It may seem like nagging - but the people who really need a new headshot are usually the ones who arrive in casual clothes and they say "oh ... is that today" ?
